Overview
The platform is a flexible, extensible, and programmable platform that allows you to build and run digital twin applications. You can use its highly configurable components to define data models, data pipelines, APIs, AI agents, Workflows and actions. The core of your Twinit App is a semantic graph - relationships between data sets bring unprecedented context and insights into capital projects, asset performance, and business processes.

You can use the platform’s services to build applications that address bespoke requirements. The platform supports both 2D and 3D graphics, as well as accelerators that integrate data from different sources - Information Technology (IT), Operational Technology (OT), and engineering data.
The platform consists of the following three groups of components that you can use to create and configure your application:
- Front-end components
- API components
- Back-end components

| Front-end components | Components that the user interacts with in the UI and components that developers use to write scripts to read and modify data, define project definitions, and to configure the front end experience. |
| API components | The application programming interface. In your scripts, call the API methods to use the back-end platform services. |
| Back-end components | The back-end services store the data and assets required to create and run a digital twin application. Interface with them using the API components. |
