Connectors

A Connector is a system component which is responsible for connecting to a range of data sources. The connector is aware of the data source type, the authentication method, required parameters, and the specific data set to be accessed.

Connectors read data from different sources, such as model data, a BIMPK file, HAYSTACK, PostgreSQL, REST responses, data aggregation platforms, or for example, CFM data from an Enterprise Asset Management application.

Connectors are modular and you can chain as many as you require in an orchestrator.

You can set default parameters for your connector and have the option to overwrite them when you run an orchestrator.

To use a connector in an orchestrator, copy a system component connector schema to your orchestrator's tasks array and configure it for your specific function in the orchestrator.
