File Service Panel

The File Service Panel#

The File Service Panel provides an intuitive interface for interacting with the File Service, allowing you to easily view and manage files and folders within a selected project.


Viewing Files and Folders in a Project#

To view your files and folders, expand a project in the File Service Panel.

Available Commands#

Here is the list of available commands. The options shown will vary depending on whether you right-click on a project, folder, or file—each context reveals a different set of commands tailored to the selected item.

Upload To#

This option is available only when right-clicking on a project or folder. It allows the user to upload a file directly into the selected location, either the project root or a specific folder. Upon selection, a dialog will appear where the user can choose files to upload.

Create Folder#

This option is available only when right-clicking on a project or folder. It enables the user to create a new folder at the selected location, either within the project root or inside a specific folder. When selected, a dialog appears where the user can enter a folder name and confirm its creation.

Delete Folder#

This option is available only when right-clicking on a folder. It allows the user to delete the selected folder, whether it is located in the project root or within another folder. Upon selection, a confirmation dialog appears to ensure the user intends to proceed. Once confirmed, the folder and all of its contents, including any subfolders and files, are permanently deleted.

Download File#

This option is available only when right-clicking on a file. It allows the user to download the selected file, whether it is located in the project root or within a specific folder. When selected, a confirmation dialog may appear asking the user if they wish to proceed. Once confirmed, the file is downloaded to the user's local system.

Delete File#

This option is available only when right-clicking on a file. It allows the user to delete the selected file, whether it is located in the project root or within another folder. Upon selection, a confirmation dialog appears to ensure the user intends to proceed. Once confirmed, the file is permanently deleted.
